Nintendo, con la colaboración de la editorial HarperCollins, lanza el 26 de diciembre en el Reino Unido una colección de libros electrónicos par al plataforma Nintendo DS. La colección de novelas, titulada 100 Classic Book Collection, incluye 100 obra clásicas de la literatura universal no sujetas a copyright. A parte de las novelas, este paquete incluye materiales complementarios como introducciones a los libros e información sobre los autores, además permite descargar contenido extra a través de la conexión Wi – Fi de Nintendo. El precio del paquete es de 19,99 libras esterlinas.
Nintendo se ha ido posicionando en el segmento del mercado para adultos con la produccion de juegos par ala plataforma Wii y para consolas DS; también se ha posicionado como lector de libros electrónicos con el lanzamiento de la colección de novelas clásicas japonesas DS Bungaku Zenshuu el pasado octubre de 2007, o la creación de recetarios culinarios que ya os vamos a comentar en este post de Beat.
